Welcome to the TTAB Center resources page, where you can find information about TTAB Center, a TTAB Center User Guide and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about TTAB Center.
What is TTAB Center
TTAB Center is the improved filing platform for parties doing business with the TTAB, replacing the ESTTA filing platform that the TTAB has used for years. Our new filing platform is more secure and resilient than ESTTA. It offers improved options for saving and sharing draft filings and allows you to view pending and completed filings in a centralized docket. You can access TTAB records for applications involved in TTAB proceedings, an extension of time to oppose and your filings in ongoing or terminated TTAB proceeding without navigating to different websites on a different browser.
Pre-filing requirements
To make filings, and to create and access your docket, you must have an active MyUSPTO account. Additionally, TTAB Center requires two-step authentication. If you have an existing MyUSPTO account, you will only need to set up two-step authentication.
For more information and support for your MyUSPTO account, read through the MyUSPTO and USPTO.gov account FAQs page.

TTAB Center capabilities
One-stop resource
File complaints, or access your docket, a TTAB record for an application, an extension of time to oppose or filings in an ongoing or terminated TTAB proceeding without navigating to different websites on a new browser.
Secure log-in and other benefits of using a MyUSPTO account
With a mandatory MyUSPTO account and two-factor authentication, you and your authorized support staff will be the only persons who can access your drafts and docket.
In addition, your contact information in your MyUSPTO account can be used to quickly populate the contact information segment of TTAB Center's electronic filing form that forms a part of your submission.
Use existing roles and info in Trademarks ID.me and Sponsorship tool
Using your MyUSPTO email account, TTAB Center will also access your existing roles and information in the Trademarks ID.me and Sponsorship tool. You can take advantage of this feature by using your account to populate fields in TTAB Center filing forms with your contact information. If you sponsored a legal support staff, that person can access your contact information when completing filing forms.
Real-time tracking
TTAB Center indicates what portion of the filing form has been completed and what portion remains for completion, in real time, as you progress in completing the filing form. TTAB Center will indicate that you completed a section of the filing form by displaying a check mark on a green background next to the navigation panel (that appears on each page).
Access to your available extensions of time to oppose
TTAB Center allows users intending to file notices of opposition whose email addresses are listed on extensions of time to oppose to access those extensions and use information from them in preparing opposition filings.
New docket feature
TTAB Center allows you to see in one location draft filing forms for proceedings you are working on and completed filing forms for proceedings that you submitted to the USPTO.
The docket feature will also allow you to see other important attributes of your drafts such as the email addresses of others with whom you have shared your drafts, real-time tracking of the status of the submission to determine if it is currently locked by another user, and when it was last updated by another user.
Improved saving and sharing
TTAB Center allows you to share a draft filing form with other users with a MyUSPTO account. The draft's creator can send the draft to another user. With the TTAB docket, the other user can then complete and save any work on the draft and send it back to the creator or another user for review or filing with the TTAB.
